I wish I had all the answers in life. But I don’t. And I am reminded of that today.

Life gets heavy. Super heavy. We have good days and bad days. Days where life seems easy and effortless, others where we can’t even fathom waking up to face another sunrise.

I don’t know about you, but for me when seasons of challenges and constant uphill battles encroach upon me, my heart always navigates back to my girl and my grief.

Our loss never goes away. It’s always there. And always will be. It’s part of us now.

During these times of turmoil, all we want is someone to listen, hold us and acknowledge our hurt. Someone to sit with us in our pain as we are not meant to carry it alone.

Life’s struggles and heartache often rip the delicate threads that have stitched our broken hearts together, exposing the rawness that lies just beneath.

Daily battles and unforeseen circumstances often flare the smoldering embers of pain that we have worked so hard to subdue. And it hurts, amplifying every aspect of our lives turning little things into big things.

So what can we do when the weight becomes too much of a burden to bear?

We must turn to the one who is our ever present, unwavering, loyal and loving, ultimate healer.

And sometimes it’s easier said than done. I will be the first to admit that. I can’t tell you how many times before, turning to God was a last resort when He should’ve been the first.

However, as I learn and grow navigating life’s difficulties, whether I reach out to him first or last, one thing for certain is that His love and comfort remain unmatched.

Remember, when you feel overwhelmed and don’t have all the answers, turn to the one who does. He’s got you.

On the journey with you.
